Nick Mattera is a singer and songwriter with a sound of hope, dreams, love and heart.

Nick has a new cover version of Neil Young’s Harvest Moon. Check out now.

Nick grew up in Toledo, Ohio. He spent a decade in Southern California and two decades in Las Vegas, but you won’t mistake his songs for any glitz and glamor.

He writes from the dreamer’s and hopeless lover’s point of view, bringing a new perspective and incisive wit to his tales of relationships, growing and going for your dreams. With a strong and unique voice built from performing hundreds of gigs every year along with a stacked backing band, he combines a vintage sound with modern material to thrilling effect.

“I’m just doing what I’m meant to do. Strumming my way.”

The New Album Released In 2024

Cosmo, Nick’s new album is a fine collection of songs. Always a few poppy ones that can be cranked up on the radio and a few slower, deep tunes. Cliche as it may be this album seemed to be the turning point for me in recording my music in my opinion. I’ve always written for me, not what I think others want to hear. But now its even more crucial to me on what moves me to go in certain directions or a lyric but this time I didn’t over think it. If the song was just over two minute, no solo, no major hook…. I was fine with it. At this stage in life I just want to capture what pulls and tugs at me when it comes to songwriting. Capture it and get it out to the world as quickly as I can record it. If you keep the songs within yourself then you aren’t doing them justice. Share them and they’ll alway be there when you’re gone for the ones who wish to listen to it. More time, more songs, more time while we have it.
